Engineering Support

LCGI provides engineering support for the United States Air Force through primary and subcontracting opportunities. LCG has worked extensively with defense contractors with Robins Air Force Base located near Warner Robins, Georgia.

As a subcontractor, LCG has been highly involved in the support and upgrading of a robust training environment for AC-130H crew station members. The AC-130H Crew Station Trainer (HCST) is a highly integrated collection of terrain generation, simulated crew panels, sensor simulations, battle scenarios and actual avionics equipment. The trainer provides an optimal, cost-effective environment to give crew members operational training while reducing the demand on aircraft resources.

LCGI also assisted in the development of the Part Task Trainer (PTT), a scaled-down version of the HCST capable of operating on a single computer and with much of the same training capabilities. LCGI also has contributed to the development of post-mission analysis tools, situational awareness software and mission data management studies.

Software Engineering

FAS Client
Versed in may programming languages, LCGI has been involved with Facilities Assignment System (FAS) Client support for BellSouth Telecommunications. FAS Client is a client-server application written and designed in part by Elias Rodriguez, who appears on the patent as 1 of 12 inventors.

Written in Visual Basic 6.0, FAS Client has a back-end engine powered by an Enterprise Oracle Database; the software supported Digital Loop Electronic Engineers and Loop Capacity Managers for the 9 state regions of BellSouth.

ExecuTrack™
LCG designed ExecuTrack, a software application that allows for web access both via traditional web browsers like Internet Explorer and via wireless devices such as Palm Pilots, iPagers and other WML-compatible devices. LCGI designed ExecuTrack initially to allow cell tower inventory technicians to input inventory date using Motorola i85 mobile phones.
